Nathaniel Dybevik is the founder of The N. Dybevik Piano Company, established in 2011 with the support of the Spaceworks program. With a deep passion for piano technology and rebuilding, Nathaniel began his professional journey in a creative studio at 1312 MLK Way in Tacoma. There, he studied piano technology and developed his skills in restoration and rebuilding, including refinishing, restringing, and action repair. The collaborative environment—shared with artists, woodworkers, and musicians—helped shape his approach and fostered a spirit of craftsmanship and innovation.

In 2015, Nathaniel relocated to South Tacoma Way, where he partnered with a local piano rebuilding company. During this time, he contributed to the production of numerous soundboards and led both the refinishing and stringing departments. While apprenticing, he continued to grow his tuning clientele and build a strong network of satisfied customers. Following the closure of his mentor’s shop in 2021, Nathaniel shifted his focus fully toward serving clients throughout the Puget Sound region.

Today, Nathaniel provides reliable piano tuning, maintenance, and regulation services across the South Puget Sound area. His attention to detail, consistency, and approachable style have earned him a trusted reputation among both private clients and institutions.

His work extends to school districts, university music programs, ballet academies, churches, and performance venues. Nathaniel also serves as Vice President for the Puget Sound Chapter of the in the professional community, continuing to refine his craft and contribute to the field.
